Although summaries of reports may be delivered orally, complete reports are almost always in the form of written documents. Reports are professional documents so need to be written in a formal and concise style.

Each week you will need to collect news clippings about current issues and the most useful sources are The Sydney Morning Herald, The Conversation and The Daily Telegraph. Current concerns are usually, immediately covered by the press and it will mean you become familiar with some of the local and macro environment.
